Sofía Gil Salgueiro
I am a consultant specialized in digitalization and marketing projects, as well as a visual and UX designer, I was born in Caracas, Venezuela.
Lasallian and graduated in Public Accounting from the Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas. I started my career at an early age in finance and accounting. After moving to Spain 10 years ago, my professional path took unexpected turns. Although I didn’t fully understand it at the time, it makes sense now.
I completed a Master of Digital Marketing and Communication in Spain, I started my career with freelance projects in content creation and as a community manager. I soon moved into website design and development. For almost the last four years, I have focused on providing consulting for digitalization and digital marketing projects as a Project Manager, developing SEO strategies, managing Google and Social Ads, web analytics at a qualitative and quantitative level, designing and developing focused websites and applications. in CRO, among other key roles in the teams I have led or been a part of.
Since the beginning of my career in this field, I have always had a strong inclination towards aspects related to design, such as the creation of corporate identities or rebranding, and, above all, a deep curiosity about interface design.
For this reason, I am currently studying the Vostok Program at the Tramontana Institute. This experience is helping me improve my conceptualization and visualization skills, and continue exploring knowledge while exchanging ideas with the best professionals in the sector.

My scope of work includes: Being responsible for UX design, playing a key role in ideation, planning, analysis, feature design and product quality. I implement and iterate processes and guidelines that drive efficiency and value in the projects of the companies I have worked with. I love moving around in different design roles, from research to creating design specifications.
I like to provide value in each part of the process: from research to find the market fit of a product, understanding who the person is, the task to be solved, advancing in ideation, prototyping, testing, and execution, measurement of results, the creation of an efficient system to obtain constant feedback from users…
I am motivated by the latest technologies and new trends around the world. I approach design focused on both the task to be solved and its context, the device and the users, to create the best product experiences and inspire and improve people’s lives.
As an eternal learner, I enjoy the complex challenges that arise when stepping out of my comfort zone and enjoy creating innovative solutions that align business objectives with user needs.
My goal is to inspire teams and companies with solutions, providing innovative opportunities that support collaboration between stakeholders.

Always do everything from love, embrace change, accept that if plan A has not worked I can resort to plan B or perhaps plan C, be brave, see endings as opportunities, seek excellence, enjoy life, be quick to verify, I need “useless” things because even in them there is utility, giving back something beautiful to the world every day, being humble and honest is a great virtue, knowing how to let go and trust is being wise. And finally, it is in my nature to be constant in the search for meaning.
